I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and a test page looked great, but I still get the message. Question 1: Why does my 6122 print out b/w photos blue? Question 2: Does having the 960c option mean that the 960 driver may still be on my computer and be the problem of not allowing the update driver for 6122 to be installed? Thanks for any help you can give for solving my problem. I can print pages from IE, but when I print from MSWord, MSMoney, or a PDF a message appears indicating no printer is installed. I could just keep printing with the 960c selected, but I am trying to duplex print on the 6122. I failed to change it to the 6122 when printing one of the above type pages and was surprised that the b/w photos came out the way they should. It was about that time I discovered that I still had my old 960c listed in the "Printer Select" window and at times it comes up automatically. ![]() I tried to download an update driver which was time-consuming and unsuccessful, especial when I attempted it 3 times! Each time I tried to download, a message came up saying the driver was already installed and the download couldn't be installed. Lately, my HP 6122 is printing out b/w photos that are blue, even though the text prints out black. I am trying to print family histories with old b/w photos interspersed in them. ![]() ![]() I have an XP computer, and a HP 6122 deskjet printer.
